Esprique Cool BB Spray Review

I just managed to get my paws on this super cool product the ESPRIQUE Cool BB Spray SPF 30 PA++.

It has 60g of product. I am not exactly sure how much it costs but it should be 2000ish yen. Oh it is a limited edition product. It is not sold locally as well.

It only comes in one shade.

It is an essence BB cream dispensed through the spray mechanism. Unlike other spray foundations in the market, we are supposed to spray the product onto the sponge that come with it.  It's supposedly makes the skin feels 5 degrees cooler and provides pore coverage without any stickiness. It is claims to have enough product to last 2 months.

As you can see, we should not spray the product directly on the face. I very much prefer spraying it on a sponge because it prevents product from getting all over my clothes.

How to use:

Basically just shake up the bottle and spray it onto the sponge. Using upward strokes, apply the bb cream to the face.
THIS THING REALLY COOLS THE FACE. I was quite surprised when I applied onto my face because it felt so nice and cool on the face.
The product itself is super light weight it feels very good when applied on a hot day because there is no burden on the face at all.
The sponge that comes with the product is a dream though it is so bouncy and smooth.
                             BEFORE                                                    AFTER
In terms of coverage, it has a sheer to medium coverage depending on how much you layer it on. It is very easily buildable and layers on very well.
As you can see, the redness from the zit around my brows has been covered quite well and my dark circles are concealed as well.
The pore coverage is probably my favourite thing about this product. It makes my skin looks so smooth!
This lasted me a good 4-5 hours. I only blotted after lunch and my face still looked quite fresh.
It is rather troublesome though as I would have to go back and spray more product onto the sponge. Perhaps I sprayed abit too little at first? I had to respray my sponge for about 2 more times.
Also, because it only comes in one shade, I didn't feel that it brighten up my face that much. Although it did suit my skintone, I prefer using BB creams/foundations that are slightly lighter to make my face look brighter. It also wouldn't be suitable for those with darker skin.
This was hot my face looked at 3pm in the afternoon. I applied it at 7am in the morning and I relaly like how it lasts!

- Novel Concept
- Lightweight texture and Cooling Effect: The combination of the 2 features makes this super awesome for Singapore's climate.
- Good Pore Coverage
- UV protection
- Easily buildable to achieve medium coverage

- Might not be moisturizing for those with dry skin
- Limited shades (It only comes in one colour actually haha)
- Difficult to purchase: You can only get it from Japan or online
Overall, I would definitely suggest getting this if you are in Japan! Especially if you have oily skin and is looking for a product with good oil control and pore coverage. I would say give this a go if you come across it!

2014 Korean Haul - Club Clio & Peri Pera

HIIIII! I'm finally back and am finally deciding to get off my lazy ass and clear all these backlogs.

This is the first time I have actually bought stuff from Club Clio. They really do have an amazing makeup range though.

Also Peri Pera is also sold in Club Clio stores. I used to get them from Watsons Korea.

Virgin Kiss Tinted Lip - #11 Painkiller
16 000 KRW
A lipstick that tints your lips without the dryness that a cream/tint gives. I had to get this especially cos Alice keeps raving about how she loves it.
I also love how vibrant the colour is!
Virgin Kiss Lipnicure - #4 Cynical Orange
8000 KRW
These normally retail for 16 000 KRW. There was a 50% off sale for some items.
I have always wanted to try these, BUT they are very drying and very unforgiving because it accentuates any flakiness on the lips.
They are also very very long lasting. I tried to remove it with a makeup remover wipe and it would not budge. I had to get it off with an eye-lip makeup remover.

Virgin Kiss Lipnicure - #3 Crime Pink
16 000 KRW
I got this first and then saw the ones on sale at the checkout counter so FML. But this was the shade I have always wanted to try out. A very pretty neutral pink.

Virgin Kiss Lipnicure - #1 Trouble Peach
8000 KRW

Peri Pera Cushion Lips - OR02 Liar
10 000 KRW
The colour is practically identical to the Club Clio orange tint. I think I prefer this cos the cushion tip makes it easier to control the amount of product that goes onto the lips. Plus the cushion tip makes it easier to create the gradient lip effect and sheer out the tint.

Letter Me Waterproof Eye Crayon
4500 KRW
#5 Last Second
#3 Love Me Lots
#6 Curiousity
These are definitely my favourite buys out of this entire haul. They are so pretty when applied on and it is very long lasting.
My favourite is #3 Love Me Lots. It is a gorgeous rose gold when blended out. I like to layer light pink shadow with gold reflex above this because it makes the colour stand out so much more.
Art Blusher - #5 Orange Peach
26 000 KRW
I have been wanting to get one of these Art Blusher since 2012. I didn't get this till this trip because it is so expensive! I can buy a MAC blusher at this price. But anyhos, it is super gorgeous and shimmery. I would use this as a highlighter or for nights out. The other colours are veryyyy pretty as well! Do check this out if you are at Club Clio!
Thats all for now! Till next time :*

2014 Korean Haul - Etude House

I am finally back on track (ish) with my last few installments of my 2014 Korean Haul.

I just came back from Bangkok quite recently and I must say I loveeeee that country. Shopping there is amazing and I am an official convert. Bought all my clothes for work there. LOVE IT!

Back to the haul, Etude House is one of my favourite chain Korean cosmetic brand and my favourite things to get there are their lip products and beauty tools oh yes and their liquid eyeliner that is the ultimate water/sweat proof thing ever.

Flamingo Eyebrow Razor
1500 KRW
Because I do my brows myself, I have tried out so many different types of eyebrow razor and this is hands down the best razor I have used. The blade is very sharp, so it gives a very clean shave without irritating the skin.
2000 KRW
I just wanted to get one of these to hold up my hair when I am applying masks haha. Apart from these beauty tools that I got, I highly recommend Etude House's brushes. They are of super good quality and very inexpensive as well!
AC Clinic Intense Extractor
3000 KRW
I do extract blackheads myself so I am very particular about extractors. I choose to get this because the 'circle' is thicker so it makes it less painful.

Oh M' Eye Liner - #1
4000 KRW
I had to get this cos my Dollywink eyeliner smudges on me extra bad whenever I am in Korea I don't know why but it does. Love the formulation of this liner but I do hate the brush though.
Minnie Touch Blusher
15 000KRW
I got this after trying out my friend's one. It is a super pretty girly shade of pink when all the colours are swirled together. I do feel that it is pretty pricey though because Etude House blushers are generally about 8000 KRW
Wonder Pore Freshener
15 000 KRW
I have been wanting to try this for a long time but just never got around to actually buying it. I finally got it cos I want to use it with my Hitachi Hada Crie. It does work well for the cleansing step!

Love Me Forever Eau De Perfume
9600 KRW
They were having a sale for the fragrances and Etude House fragrances are pretty good I must say.
Vivid Pop Stick - #2 This Love
7500 KRW
This is sorta like the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable lip stains. It feels very moisturising and the colour is very vibrant in real life.
Rosy Tint Lips - #6 English Garden
8500 KRW

Love how this entire range smells like roses. The most popular makeup item in Korea now has to be these lip creams/ lip stains. There are so many variations out there I don't even know how to start choosing. I chose this because it is super wearable and the formulation is more moisturising than many of the other brands.
Rosy Lip Tint - #1
8500 KRW
I wanted a bright hot red and this was the closest to what I wanted so I had to get it. Plus these double up as a cheek stain too.

Colour Lips Fit - #PK 002
9000 KRW
That all for my Etude House haul! I am starting my first job tomorrow, today actually. I am so excited for the new journey of my life feels quite scary and surreal though. Till next time then!
